We chose to publish this conversation about self-discovery and transformation, even though the video and sound quality has been impacted by a technical difficulty. We trust that you will find great value in what Sam has to share.

What is MY Learning? http://edenlearning.co.za/blog/what-is-my-learning.html http://edenlearning.co.za/blog/what-is-my-learning/#respond Sat, 14 Apr 2018 20:49:57 +0000 http://edenlearning.co.za/blog/what-is-my-learning.html

Learning…The most important learning that we can gain is about our self. How we handle our current situation is based on our learning of our historical experiences.  Have we learnt anything by them? Have we chosen to ignore the cold hard facts about ourselves? The saying goes…”Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result”.  My question. Are you brave enough to let go of your insanity, be brave to step out of your norm, take a risk, let go of negative emotions and limiting beliefs?

Often we view our conflicting life experiences, looking through our own eyes, as unfair, undeserving, a waste of a good life. We complain as if in agony. Then comparing our difficulties with others, we realise how fortunate we really are. Perhaps shift the thinking to “What is MY learning in this situation?”, “What have I contributed to this situation?”, “How can I do better?”, How can I be different?”, “How can I apply this learning into my future?”. “How can I use my experience to empower others?” We don’t always realise how others are affected by our behavioural patterns or the consequences of our behaviour. So, what legacy are we leaving behind?

I have learnt to embrace my difficulties, take the learning and build a stronger me to empower others in their weak states. How else are we able to empower others if we ourselves have not endured similar pain? Perhaps our mind shift should be to appreciate our difficulties rather than wish them away. Your difficulty will empower others at some point in their lives.

We can wallow in the mistakes, hurts and anger of the past, holding us back from the success of the present and the future, or look forward in applying forgiveness, both of self and others, empowering ourselves in positive thinking and taking hard action in the process to achieving our goals. Continue asking…What is MY Learning?…after all, it is a life long experience…

You have one life.  Love it and Live it!  Yes You CAN!
